Who We Are

The Early Risers Group (TERG) is an educational grant organisation dedicated to supporting individual learners who demonstrate potential, commitment, and need.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to remove practical barriers to learning by providing timely educational support. Sometimes a learner does not lack ability. They lack access to a book, a laptop, a learning aid, or the financial support needed to continue.

What We Do

  • We provide money grants to eligible individual learners.
  • We provide books and educational materials.
  • We provide laptops and approved learning technology.
  • We provide learning aids, including support for special educational needs.
  • We support learners from primary school through PhD and fellowship.
  • We serve learners in the UK and Africa.
  • When applications are open, we accept them throughout the year.
  • We review applications quarterly and aim to communicate decisions within two weeks after review.
