Privacy Policy
This notice describes how The Early Risers Group (TERG), charity number 1208855, handles information supplied through this website. The intended domain is theearlyrisers.org.
General inquiries
The inquiry forms ask for your name, email, country and message. You may also provide your organisation or phone number. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and keep a record of our correspondence. The form asks for your agreement to being contacted about that inquiry. It does not subscribe you to marketing.
What not to send
Please do not send identity documents, bank details, health information or sensitive details about a child through a general inquiry. Grant applications and nominations are closed while their final data-handling and safeguarding arrangements are being completed.
Storage and access
Inquiries are stored in private records on the WordPress website and are accessible to authorised administrators. The website is hosted by Hostinger. The selected server is in the UK, with backups in Germany. Email notifications may be sent using the configured email service. We do not attach grant documents to notification emails.
Retention and your requests
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the inquiry and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. You can use the contact form to request access, correction or deletion of your information or withdraw your agreement to further contact. Please do not send identity documents in the initial request. We may need to verify your identity appropriately.
Accounts and future applications
Before opening applicant registration, grant applications and nominations, TERG will finalise and publish the relevant legal bases, any special-category condition, retention periods and safeguards for children and SEN information. Recommendation letters will not be required for SEN applications.
Payments
Online donations are currently unavailable. Once enabled, PayPal will process payment information under its own terms and privacy notice. TERG’s PayPal account email is not displayed publicly.
Cookies
WordPress uses cookies for signed-in sessions and essential site functions. This build does not add advertising or analytics tools. Any later non-essential tracking must be assessed and configured before it is introduced.
Concerns
Please contact TERG through the contact form with a privacy concern. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
